Best X'mas present ever! /素敵なプレゼント☆

How was your Christmas?  Mine was wonderful in a way.  It wasn't good at all at first but it later turned out to be a great one!

OK, on Christmas my sister was brought to the hospital and was staying there for a couple of days as she got some virus infection that made her really sick.  It was nothing like a life-danger serious, but then in the middle of the night my mom called me saying that my sister was having an emergency operation as the doctor found a very serious problem with her CT scan result.　　That CT scan thing was just an optional, but the doctor decided to do that just in case.

After the operation, the doctor told us that if my sister didn't get that virus infelction and didn't come to the hospital and the doctor　didn't find that problem but left that for another a couple of years, then my sister probably got only one year left in her life.  It was that serious.  One year left!!!  We could almost lose her!  We're so happy that she got virus infelction and went to the hospital! :)

When she was brought to the hospital, we were saying "What a bad Christmas!", but now we say "What a wonderful Christmas present we got!"  We are so thankful that the thinkgs worked out in her favor. :)

クリスマスはいかがでしたか？私のクリスマスは大変でもあり素晴らしくもありました。というのは、妹がウイルス性の病気になり急に入院することに。なにもクリスマスの日に･･･、と思っていたらいきなりの緊急手術。ウイルス性の病気の方は薬で回復するようなものだったのですが、先生が念のためＣＴスキャンしておきましょうか、と言うことで撮ったところ緊急手術を要する別の病気を発見。手術は無事成功したのですが、先生から、今回たまたま別の病気で来院して、たまたまＣＴ撮って発見したから良かったものの、このままあと数年放置していたら、余命１年程度になるような状態でしたよ、と言われ、血の気が引きました。きっとこの『たまたまウイルス感染』は神様からのクリスマスプレゼントだったんだ、と思い、感謝しています。よいクリスマスになりました（＾＾）

会社の健康診断で安心せず、時々、人間ドックなどで詳しく調べておくことが大切だと思いました。皆様も、お体を大切になさってください。
