Outgoing letter/お手紙発送

My mailbox was empty for a while, but yesterday finally I received some nice letters! :)  I'm excited to have a posting of Incoming Mail later. :)  OK, these're the letters I posted today.  This one is flying to Sweden.  I was going to make the envelope to look like rain, but somehow I used it up side down...I have no idea what I was thinking when I was putting the address label to the envelope.
And this one is traveling to Lithuania.  I was hoping to find rose stamps to match the decoration but couldn't, so I just used flower theme stamps.  Hope she will like it.
My pile of letters is getting smaller.  I have few more letters to write though.  When you reply to your letters, in which order do you reply?  Do you reply according to the date you received?  I try to reply according to the date I received, but to those pals who live in far away countries to where the letters take longer to be delivered, I try to reply right away.  Sometimes, my letter to my Mexican pal takes like 1 month or even longer than that to be delivered.  As long as it arrives safely, I'm happy though. :)

今日発送のお手紙は2通。スウェーデンとリトアニアへ。スウェーデンへの自作封筒は、雨が降っているようになるように作りたかったのですが、何を勘違いしたか、上下逆に宛名ラベルを貼ってしまった…疲れているのかな(月曜日から?)(^^;

  1. Well, I usually reply to letters by the order they arrived, but sometimes I reply to shorter letters before, and then I use more time to reply to longer letters....nice envelopes and stamps above all, we don't have such cute stamps in Italy!

  2. I always reply letters in order of receiving. I find it more fair for everyone this way... and actually it has never come to my mind to do another way!

    1. Yes, I do that same. Like you said, writing back in order of receiving is more fair for everyone. :) Sometimes I see the date when the letter was written and if the letter took so long to travel, then I write back such letter right away as my pal has been waiting for the reply for a long time. Once, my pal's letter was first sent to Jamaica for some reason and then to Japan...and it took like 2.5 months to get here! I wrote her back right away! :D

  3. 1 month to be delivered is "fast" for Venezuelan standards, sometimes letters take 2 or 3 months to be delivered to my home :(

    1. Wow, 2 or 3 months to be delivered? That's a long journey! I guess the letters love traveling in your country. ;)
